Description

What is Tested?

This test discretely tests you for Chlamydia trachomatis (Chlamydia), Neisseria gonorrhoeae (Gonorrhea), and Trichomonas vaginalis (Trichomoniasis). Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, and Trichomoniasis are common sexually transmitted infections caused by bacteria or parasites, often presenting with mild or no symptoms, but can lead to serious health issues like infertility if left untreated.

How is it tested?

PCR testing using a urine sample for STI testing is a non-invasive method to detect the genetic material (DNA or RNA) of certain sexually transmitted infections. First, a urine sample is collected and sent to the lab, where the genetic material from any potential pathogens is extracted. The PCR technique is then used to amplify even small amounts of the DNA or RNA, making it easier to detect. The amplified material is analyzed for the presence of STI-related pathogens. This highly accurate and sensitive testing method can detect infections, even in the absence of symptoms, making it a reliable option for STI testing.

In simpler terms, we extract what we need to test from your urine sample, create copies of that material, and then analyze if the virus is present in any of those copies.

Do I need a Doctors’ Order to order this test?

Regulations vary by state and require a written or electronic request for patient testing. States that allow Direct Access Testing (DAT) are an exception to this rule – our consumers are allowed to take a test without a requisition authorized by a physician. Onsite Clinical Care works with a physician network to authorize tests in all states where our tests can be purchased.

Simply put, you don’t need a doctor’s order—we’ll take care of that for you!

Where is it tested?

After your sample is collected from the comfort of your home, it’s sent to one of our partner labs in either Washington State or Illinois. Why two locations? To efficiently manage the high volume of samples, we’ve partnered with labs in both states to ensure quick processing and timely results. Rest assured, your sample is handled by CLIA and COLA-certified facilities, meeting rigorous quality standards that go above and beyond.

Is this test covered by Insurance?

We encourage customers to submit claims to their insurance providers but cannot guarantee approval. Since our at-home kits eliminate the need for a doctor’s visit, insurance coverage may vary. We recommend contacting your insurance provider to explore coverage and reimbursement options for our services. If you choose to pursue this route, a member of our team will be happy to assist you.

Why do you offer this test?

We offer STI tests because we understand how uncomfortable and embarrassing it can feel to talk about sexual health. Our goal is to create a safe, confidential environment where you can get tested discreetly, without judgment. We believe that everyone deserves peace of mind and the opportunity to take control of their health, and by offering easy and accessible testing, we want to help break the stigma around STIs and make it easier for you to prioritize your well-being.

Sustainability & Care

Our kit is designed with sustainability in mind, leaving behind minimal waste. Nearly all components are either used during testing or returned to our laboratory, ensuring nothing goes to waste. Unlike others, we avoid unnecessary packaging or decorative materials, focusing instead on reducing environmental impact. It might not be the flashiest kit, but it’s a thoughtful step toward a greener future.

At Onsite Clinical Care, we are committed to making healthcare simple and accessible for everyone across the U.S. That’s why we prioritize convenience with home sample collections that don’t require a doctor’s order—bringing care directly to you.

When to Consider Testing for These STIs

You may want to test for Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, or Trichomoniasis if you:

  • Are sexually active and have never been tested before.
  • Experience any of the symptoms listed above.
  • Have a new sexual partner or multiple partners.
  • Know or suspect your partner has an STI.
  • Have had unprotected sex, including oral or anal sex.
  • Have been diagnosed with another STI, as co-infections are common.

Testing is especially important because these infections can be asymptomatic and may lead to severe complications, such as infertility, if left untreated. Regular screening is recommended for sexually active

  2. Verified Customer

The kit arrived quickly and discreetly, which was great for maintaining my privacy. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, making the sample collection process simple and stress-free. I was impressed by how straightforward it was. The results came back easy to understand and I highly recommend this test to anyone looking for a reliable and hassle-free way to check their STI status.

  3. Verified Customer

I ordered this expecting it to be an instant test, it wasn’t. You have to physically send this test back to their lab in order for them to send your results to them. I was annoyed at first but it offered me more peace of mind knowing that it was going to actually tested somewhere.

  4. Verified Customer

I appreciated how discrete this test was and the privacy it offered me. Instructions were straightforward and when I contacted them with a concern they got back to me quickly. Would recommend

  5. Verified Customer

I ordered this test after it was recommended to me on my Facebook Feed. I’ve never done an STI test before but I saw it was on sale so I decided why not. I collected my sample and sent it back to the lab not expecting anything grand. They did detect something that I would have never caught had I not taken this test, and instead of just sending me my results, I actually received a call from a doctor to go over my results with me and give me the next steps. I wasn’t expecting that type of service from this test – but this was probably the best and most surprising purchase I’ve made.

  6. Verified Customer

I’ve never been tested before and didn’t know where to go. I decided to gamble on this test and I’m glad that I did, it took the anxiety out of testing for me and I feel more comfortable with the idea of it now.

  7. Verified Customer

My test flagged an inconclusive result, and I had to retest. Someone reached out to send me one free but I don’t want to retake an entire new test

  8. Verified Customer

A good option for anyone who wants privacy. It’s a bit expensive, but I appreciate that it doesn’t show up on my medical records

  9. Verified Customer

The test is okay for a quick check, but the waiting time for results made me nervous.

  10. Verified Customer

I was hesitant at first, but this turned out to be exactly what I needed. The instructions were simple, and the process was super private.

  11. Verified Customer

Discretion is important to me, so I was happy to find this without having to involve my insurance.

  13. Verified Customer

I like the concept of this test, but I got anxious watching the shipping of my sample to the lab and then waiting again for the result time. Wouldn’t get if you need results ASAP, but if you can wait a couple days this is pretty good for the price

  14. Verified Customer

I liked how discreet this was, I didn’t like waiting a week for results

  15. Verified Customer

I get tested regularly, and this test is easy to keep stocked. Super convenient and I can test immediately whenever I have a scare

  16. Verified Customer

  17. Verified Customer

The test kit arrived fast, and the instructions were straightforward. I didn’t want this on my insurance, so this was a great solution.

  18. Verified Customer

This test is easier to use than I thought. I needed my test to be under the radar and this did the job

  19. Verified Customer

super easy to use, results came around when I expected them to but I can see how some people could’ve got freaked out about it

  20. Verified Customer

    Lifesaver!!!!

  21. Verified Customer

This is actually really cool. The pipetting the urine into my vial was a little gross, but I still prefer it over my urine sample just sitting on a counter somewhere at my doctors.
